This is Dylan’s first attempt at creating a mixtape. He was 19 then, fresh and new full of ideas. Even then you could see he had his tastes set out – comparing the mixes from today to this one shows lots in common. Part one is hard and fast, while part two shows his early influences of the detroit style – the melodic and soulful techno sound from the early ’90s.
