The third installment of my "Undercover" series. I think the idea behind this series isn't just quality deep house - but totally rich, smooth, mellow, sometimes emotional music. I kept the BPMs at a slower pace this time. It hovers around 120 BPM - double the rate of a healthy heartbeat. It's still dance music, mind you.. still for your feet. But also for your mind, for the ambience or for whatever you might be doing. The bass could be right on a crazy system, but still sweet on the walkman, the car, the home hi-fi. This is music, not just beats. Lots of acoustic additions. Smooth jazz guitar, flute, acoustic basslines. The mix is almost completely devoid of vocals to keep the sounds in their place, in your psyche. The people who made this music deserve so much more credit than they currently receive. They're not tauted by the superstar DJs. But a few of us understand, and I know a few of you reading this get it.
